Project Description:
I am interested in understanding how bacterial communities interact with their plant hosts. Currently, I am working on understanding how plants respond to a diverse set of bacterially derived proteins. I am also working on computational pipelines to utilize shotgun metagenomic sequencing data in our understanding of the important functional differences between microbial communities.
