Project Description:
My work focuses on the genetic and functional characterization of a novel NB-LRR protein which is required for the “runaway cell death” (rcd) phenotype of lsd1. The project is aimed at understanding how the mechanism of pathogen recognition and cell death can converge.
This work is founded by the Human Frontier Science Program.
