Promoter regions (1.6-2.0 kb upstream of ATG) of the type-A ARRs were amplified by PCR and cloned upstream of the b-glucuronidase (GUS) gene in the pCambia3301 binary vector, except for ARR5 which was cloned in to pBI101 (See primers used). Constructs were then transformed into WT Columbia plants.
