Cell deaths can be seen in both embryos as small
"buttons". Some of these are marked by arrows near the
end of the movie. Cell corpses accumulate in the
ced-1(e1735) embryo because phagocytosis of dead cells
fails (Horvitz

al 1991, Zhou

al 2001).
