Project Description:

I am currently investigating the function of plant NLR immune receptor in response to bacterial pathogen invasion in Arabidopsis. I have studied the role of RIN4 targeted by bacterial type III effectors in plant immunity as a phophoswitch that contributes two tiers of plant immune response, Microbe-Associated Molecular Patterns (MAMPs)-triggered immunity (MTI) and effector-triggered immunity (ETI).
