Hello everyone~! My name is Teni, and I'm currently a third-year student at UNC, Chapel Hill. I am majoring in Psychology with minors in Biology and Creative Writing. I also love the visual arts.

In the summer of 2009, I was accepted into the Duke Energy Bio-Science (DEBS) program for Undergraduate Research, where I and other rising first-years were able to conduct research work during the summer session. This was when I was first introduced to the Jones Lab, where I worked hands-on with different fruit fly assays and RNA interference experiments.
I continued working in the Jones Lab as a SMART scholar, and I plan to continue this research through the summer.
